Job Title: Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary:

Care Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision, training, and guidance to nursing staff.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and position expectations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and performance improvement plans.
  • Deliver trainings and resources to nursing staff.
  • Support site nursing supervisors in interviewing, selection, hiring, and terminations.
  • Maintain open communication with management and program directors.
  • Facilitate team meetings and support client care and staff development.

Clinical Supervision Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight of nursing treatment services.
  • Ensure nursing staff provide strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally competent services.
  • Review charts for quality management standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies.
  • Assume ownership for crisis situations and ensure proper documentation.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Ensure treatment service plans and activities align with the organization's values and mission.
  • Develop and maintain good relations with contractors and collaborators.
  • Ensure compliance with programmatic or project contractual requirements.
  • Support direct reports and team performance.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State of California with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience as a supervisor in a behavioral or mental health clinic or community health center.
  • Minimum three (7) years' experience as an RN, preferred in ambulatory care, public or community health experience.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with homeless, LGBTQ, and criminal justice populations.
  • Experience and understanding of Federally Qualified Health Center and regulations.
  • Experience and strong foundation in Quality Improvement.
