Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager - Civilian at Palo Alto Networks is a key driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you will lead and drive sales engagements, connecting customers with solutions for every stage of threat prevention.
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed your quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform.
Work with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer, driving and orchestrating complex sales cycles.
Bring your experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors.
Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments, understanding the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs.
Engage a programmatic approach to demand generation, developing and expanding your territory, and leveraging prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition.
Requirements
Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context, with awareness of SASE technology preferred.
Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners to bring a channel-centric go-to-market approach for customers.
Lead all aspects of the sales cycle, uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new, white-space territories and accounts.
Deep knowledge of the U.S. DOD and/or intelligence community, with a successful track record selling complex solutions.
Excellent time management skills, working with high levels of autonomy and self-direction, and a highly competitive, ramp-quick, and adaptive approach to exceeding production goals.
