At French Hospital Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Cardiac Rhythm Monitor Technician to join our team. As a critical member of our cardiac care team, you will be responsible for monitoring and observing the cardiac rhythms of multiple patients on the cardiac monitor.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and reporting any rhythm changes to the appropriate registered nurse
- Maintaining telemetry box equipment and ensuring that the identified telemetry box in use on the patient matches that on the cardiac monitor
- Printing rhythm strips and performing rhythm analyses
- Providing excellent communication and customer service skills to patients, families, and hospital employees
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also serve as a hospital unit clerk, providing administrative support and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements include:
- Basic arrhythmia class with certification for COU/ICCU
- BLS certification
Preferred qualifications include experience in a similar role.
