Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled EKG Monitor Technician to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our medical science team, you will be responsible for interpreting and reporting EKG data received from patients wearing company monitoring devices. This critical role requires formal EKG education, such as a certificate from a school or third-party certification.

As a Telemetry tech, you will work in an in-office setting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting EKG data. You will also collect recordings and patient symptoms, facilitate activation of EMS when necessary, and accurately document actions taken within patient records. Additionally, you will facilitate orders for monitors and supplies, obtain patient transmissions and related symptoms, and recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms/symptoms, clearly communicating information to the appropriate team member.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary, starting at $22/hour, based on experience.   • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Formal EKG education such as a certificate from a school or third-party certification required
  • Preferred:
  • CET (Certified EKG Technician) – offered at some colleges and community colleges
  • CCT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
  • CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
  • One year work experience preferred
  • Nationally accredited EKG Certification (CET, NRCEKG, etc.) required before starting work (we can help get your certified)
  • You must be available to work one of the scheduled shifts.
  • There are no accommodate specific days or times off.
  • Training is 6 - 8 weeks long, during the day on weekdays.
