About the Role

Samsara's Product team is responsible for bringing our innovative IoT technology to market, accelerating the adoption of sensor data to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of fleets and other operations-focused businesses. As a member of the Product team, you'll be responsible for the success of new products and features that delight our customers and further Samsara's vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn the core skills of product management through an apprenticeship-style program with training and a formal mentor
  • Gather customer and stakeholder feedback through well-structured beta programs to get features ready for launch
  • Manage the end-to-end launch of a new feature, enabling customers and internal teams, and measuring the success of new features during roll-out
  • Have the opportunity to interact with and learn from our executive team, understanding how to scale a growth-stage company to becoming a major industry player
  • As you grow, lead the development of new features in collaboration with Design, Engineering, and Marketing, and even manage a small roadmap
Requirements
  • A minimum of a 3.5 GPA
  • Experience building a product, a startup, an application, a nonprofit (or equivalent) as a founding member or co-founder is a requirement of the role
  • 0 years of experience in a full-time product management role (product management internships are acceptable)
  • Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical discipline
  • Prior evidence of strong intellectual curiosity and leadership skills
  • Knack for gleaning insights from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Bias-to-action - you're not afraid to get your hands dirty to help your team and have an impact on our customers
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and structured thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
