About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our dynamic team at Sodexo, a leading private employer of dietitians in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments for acute care patients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process model.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, including nutrition support and education, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and counseling to patients and staff on nutrition-related topics.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and nutrition interventions.
  • Participate in quality assurance checks, such as meal rounds and food service training, to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns and provide guidance and mentorship to support their professional development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Eligibility for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and registration within 120 days of hire.
  • State licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare teams and patients.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
