We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our dynamic team at Sodexo. As a Dietitian Nutritionist I, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive nutrition assessments, interventions, and education to patients in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and reassessments to identify disease-specific needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and staff on nutrition-related topics, including diet planning and meal management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement nutrition care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in quality assurance checks, such as meal rounds and food service training, to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns and provide guidance and mentorship to support their professional development.
- Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials, with eligibility to become registered within 120 days of hire.
- State certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare teams.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
