Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Civil Engineering Department as part of our paid internship program. The ideal candidate will be on track to complete a bachelor's degree in engineering, with knowledge of FDOT standards and experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities
  • Work on challenging projects that require collaboration within and among various departments.
  • Contribute to team projects and individual tasks assigned in the discipline you support.
  • Prepare project design drawings within MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
  • Develop project specific detail drawings.
  • Calculate project construction quantity estimates.
  • Assist with technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
  • Learn and adhere to client-specific standards.
  • Coordinate with team members and client representatives.
  • Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and/or construction support.
Qualifications
  • On track for completing a bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Knowledge of FDOT standards.
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply complex systems.
  • Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
