Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Civil Engineering Department as part of our paid internship program. The ideal candidate will be on track to complete a bachelor's degree in engineering and have knowledge of FDOT standards, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS. Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is also a plus.
Responsibilities:- Work on challenging projects that require collaboration within and among various departments.
- Contribute to team projects and individual tasks assigned in the discipline you support.
- Prepare project design drawings within MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Develop project-specific detail drawings.
- Calculate project construction quantity estimates.
- Assist with technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks.
- Learn and adhere to client-specific standards.
- Coordinate with team members and client representatives.
- Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and/or construction support.
