Job Summary

Aston Carter is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and leading a team of production staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all production activities
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager and staff to optimize production schedules and processes
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics for roasting and packaging lines
  • Provide training and coaching to new hires and existing staff on GMP and safety procedures
  • Verify employee training status and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Foster a positive and cooperative work environment
  • Lead safety initiatives and identify and report any safety issues
  • Participate in recruiting, training, and retaining high-performing team members
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance individual and team performance
  • Ensure sanitation standards are met and paperwork is up to date
  • Escalate machine operation issues to Maintenance and/or Production Manager
  • Communicate with Production Manager and HR on personnel issues and resolve discrepancies
  • Perform audits and verification activities as requested by managers

  • Ability to meet deadlines and improve work processes/procedures
