Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team. This role involves the assembly and fabrication of mechanical components and products using various tools and equipment, adhering to precise specifications within a designated production area of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and follow technical blueprints, diagrams, and engineering specifications to accurately assemble equipment.
  • Utilize handheld tools, including screwdrivers and drill guns, for assembly tasks.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
  • Identify and document any product defects, taking appropriate corrective actions.
  • Rework and repair assembled products according to updated engineering specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
  • Dependable and reliable work ethic.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and innovative thinking.
  • High attention to detail and self-motivated.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • At least two years of experience in building emergency apparatus is preferred.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, use hands for manual tasks, and lift/move items up to 50 pounds. Candidates should have good vision capabilities, including close and distance vision, and be able to work in varying environmental conditions.
