We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Specialist to join our manufacturing department at JCSI. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly of components, as well as inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently assemble components according to specifications and blueprints, utilizing your knowledge of mechanical assembly and fabrication techniques.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet our high standards and adhering to industry best practices.
- Follow assembly instructions and blueprints to perform tasks accurately, utilizing your problem-solving skills to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively, maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical assembly or fabrication experience, with a strong understanding of assembly processes and procedures.
- Ability to do basic math and read rulers and tape measures, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, with a strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Ability to read blueprints, with a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science.
