POSITION SUMMARY


Accountable for delivering a comprehensive range of financial services, including account management, time deposit renewals, and assisting clients with inquiries and account maintenance.

In partnership with the Teller Supervisor, responsible for cultivating, training, and inspiring lobby staff to enhance customer service and effectively promote bank products and services.

Possesses foundational knowledge of basic deposit and loan offerings. Recognizes sales and referral opportunities and aims to achieve related objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensures proficient and professional execution of financial service operations.

  • Introduces and clarifies Bank offerings to clients, assisting in fulfilling their financial requirements, including account management for checking, savings, time deposits, and retirement accounts, as well as handling safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
  • Addresses client inquiries and resolves issues by actively listening, gathering information, and providing solutions.
  • Analyzes client profiles to uncover sales prospects.
  • Employs lead generation strategies to enhance business development.

2. Maintains effective and professional relationships with clients.

  • Handles client requests and inquiries promptly, courteously, and professionally.
  • Processes new client accounts and modifications to existing accounts, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Safeguards customer account information.
  • Upholds and promotes the Bank's professional image.

3. Fosters effective collaboration with team members and management.

  • Provides assistance to team members as needed.
  • Keeps Banking Center Manager updated on significant activities and challenges.
  • Completes necessary reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participates in meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Oversees annual reporting and special projects relevant to the banking center.
  • Reviews new account data entry for accuracy.
  • Supports Treasury Management with client accounts and services.
  • Ensures daily logs are accurately maintained and organized for review.

4. Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Actively promotes Bank products and services, aiming to meet sales targets.
  • Completes related administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Ensures workspaces are tidy, secure, and well-organized.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Financial service operations are conducted efficiently and in accordance with established policies and security protocols.
  • Strong business relationships are maintained with clients, with inquiries and issues resolved promptly.
  • Effective coordination and collaboration exist with team members and management.
  • Reports and documentation are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Consistently seeks to develop new client relationships while strengthening existing ones through identifying sales opportunities.
  • The Bank's professional reputation is upheld and communicated effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge:
Solid understanding of financial services and products offered.

Experience Required:
Customer service experience is essential.
Experience as a Personal Banker is preferred.
Prior banking experience is advantageous.

Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional demeanor and attitude.
Proficient in operating relevant computer applications and business equipment.
Strong mathematical and bookkeeping skills.

WORKING HOURS:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
40 hours per week.
