Job Summary

The Culinary Manager is responsible for overseeing the food production process, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to guests. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and quality.
  • Read and comprehend daily forecasts, menus, and recipes to ensure accurate production.
  • Supervise staff and participate in activities to prepare, cook, and present food according to hotel standards.
  • Complete food order requisitions to procure necessary items for production.
  • Audit food storeroom items for quality, consistency, and rotation to control food costs.
  • Interact with guests to provide special requests and maintain a positive working relationship.
  • Analyze customer feedback and implement suggestions for improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of Culinary Management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Strong knowledge of food service industry, cuisines, and beverages.

Working Environment
