Responsibilities:- Communicate with customers regarding call activities, including scheduled arrival times, scheduled calls, and any deviations that may occur.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures, execute repairs at the customer site, and complete repairs within standard guidelines.
- Maintain a parts inventory and ship parts back when necessary at the end of service calls.
- Provide status updates online during the day, including updating service call activity and keeping management aware of any issues requiring additional attention.
- Participate in special projects as requested.
- Degree or certification in electrical engineering or a technical field is a plus.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills are a must.
- Previous field experience and familiarity with "road warrior" travel are helpful.
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time with little notice is required.
- Knowledge of the printing industry is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent judgment and discretion, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress.
- Service-minded professionals who can build trusting customer relationships.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and to frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally move more than 100 lbs.
