Job Title: Road Service Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Road Service Mechanic to join our team at Lift Truck Parts & Service. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing expert mechanical services to our customers.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with experience working on cars, trucks, and forklifts. Forklift knowledge is a definite plus. You will be responsible for performing mobile field repairs, maintaining equipment according to industry and company standards, and completing required documentation. You will also be expected to keep the job site and work area neat, clean, and organized.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mobile field repairs on a variety of equipment, including cars, trucks, and forklifts
  • Maintain equipment according to industry and company standards
  • Complete required documentation, including work-orders
  • Keep the job site and work area neat, clean, and organized
  • Observe and comply with all company policies and safety standards
  • Complete any other assigned tasks to contribute to the effective operation of the service and repair department
Qualifications
  • At least one year of mechanical experience
  • Strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • Possess own tools (employer willing to help out with some new tool expenses through tool allowance)
  • Possess a valid driver's license
