Job Title: Software & Database Support Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software & Database Support Associate to join our team at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the continued development of the Migration & Refugee Information System (MRIS) database and related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recommend solutions for enhancements and maintenance of the MRIS diocesan portal website and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database systems.
  • Coordinate with USCCB Information Technology and software vendors in the installation and testing of new applications, system upgrades, and security controls.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft CRM database (MRIS) and future database systems.
  • Create testing strategies and user acceptance testing (UAT) including unit testing and end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate with vendors on user interface and user experience needs.
  • Work with the product development team to ensure that the acceptance criteria are met and the software meets project objectives/customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
  • Major Field/Specialty: Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Systems, hardware/software engineering, technology project coordination, or related computer field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience.
  • Must live in the DC Metro region.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $48,013.00 to $57,048.00, depending on experience.
