Job Summary

The Audio Visual Technician is a key member of the Caesars Entertainment team, responsible for the setup, operation, breakdown, inventory, and maintenance of audio, video, and lighting equipment throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audio and Video Systems: Must understand and be able to work with large-scale digital DSP-based music and paging systems, as well as large format analog, digital, and IPTV-based video distribution and CATV systems.
  • Lighting and Stage Operations: Requires proficiency in programming lighting for stage and events, and a good understanding of production practices and procedures.
  • Event Support: Must be able to manage entertainers' needs, control/mix audio and lighting for performances, and create, edit, and finalize video and audio programs and presentations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Must be able to operate various machines such as scissor and bucket lifts, forklifts, pallet jacks, and work at heights over 75 feet.
  • Industry Development: Evaluates industry developments and recommends appropriate uses to management.
  • Quality Control: Ensures all products meet standards set by the department.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in audio, lighting, musical, stage, wardrobe, hairdressing, and make-up equipment and costumes, as appropriate for entertainment performances and events.
  • Technical Skills: Must have a willingness to learn new systems and technology.
  • Soft Skills: Must possess excellent skills in project management, communication, and supervision.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet.
  • Teamwork: Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Schedule: Ability to have a flexible schedule and work weekends and holidays.
