Job Overview:

As a creative visual content specialist, you will be responsible for capturing and editing compelling photo and film content using modern equipment. You will also create and edit graphic design content to enhance the Maryland Department of Human Services' ability to communicate effectively with its diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

* Utilize modern film and photography equipment to capture and edit high-quality visual content.
* Create and edit engaging graphic design content to support the department's communication goals.
* Translate written and spoken content from English to Spanish to cater to the diverse needs of the community.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of administrative staff or professional work experience. You may substitute education for experience, with 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university counting as one year of experience.

Desired Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of one year of experience in the following areas:

* Drone Pilot
* Adobe editing suite
* Lead Cinematographer
* Social Media Management
* Government agency photography

As a contractual employee, you will be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage, paid leave, and other benefits. Please note that you will be responsible for paying 25% of the premiums for your medical and prescription coverage, including any eligible dependents you have enrolled.
