POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief of Staff for Administrative Operations will play a pivotal role as a strategic operational leader, overseeing the comprehensive business and administrative functions of the PCN division. This position involves advising the Executive Vice President (EVP) of PCN and the leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor on significant strategic matters, coordinating the execution of our strategic objectives, enhancing team capabilities, and managing special project assignments.
The ideal candidate will be a resourceful professional with high emotional intelligence, self-drive, and strong analytical abilities, dedicated to the success of both the team and the organization. This role embodies the mission, values, and philosophy of Providence Service, serving as a model for organizational values.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a strategic advisor to the EVP and leadership team, collaborating to articulate and implement a compelling vision for PCN.
- Facilitate senior leadership forums to enhance collaboration and decision-making.
- Enhance operational effectiveness by developing processes that improve execution, communication, and meeting management.
- Engage in regional Monthly Operating Reviews to assess strategy and performance metrics.
- Manage the overarching PCN budget effectively.
- Utilize strategic thinking to address complex challenges, driving accountability and ensuring alignment within a complex organizational structure.
- Oversee critical strategic initiatives sponsored by the EVP, ensuring a cohesive approach across PCN and key partners.
- Work closely with the leadership team to foster an exceptional experience for caregivers, emphasizing visibility, engagement, and recognition.
- Represent the EVP in meetings to broaden organizational reach and influence.
- Prepare and facilitate meetings led by the EVP, ensuring objectives are clear and achievable.
- Lead through influence, collaborating with team members across the organization.
- Advocate for necessary changes in processes that do not meet organizational needs.
- Manage preparations for the Providence Medical Group Board and its sub-committees.
- Lead special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Health Administration or Business Administration, or a Certificate in Healthcare Management preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of management or leadership experience, particularly in strategy and operations within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Providence Service, integrating core values into programs and services.
- Proven ability to function as a high-impact leader in a collaborative environment, serving as a role model and mentor.
- Innovative thinking with strong conceptual and planning skills relevant to healthcare delivery services.
- Comprehensive understanding of clinical, business, and management aspects of healthcare services.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and confidence.
