Job Title: Sr. Project Controller

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will serve as a senior project controller, responsible for providing financial expertise and support to multiple projects within an Agile/SAFe environment. This role requires a strong background in project financial management, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, developing detailed plans to achieve goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  • Provide financial analysis and monitoring, ensuring accuracy of project execution plans in Microsoft Project.
  • Collaborate with central PMO and project teams, serving as the primary interface.
  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a project controller or in a similar financial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and PPM.
  • Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI or PMP certification.
  • Experience in an Agile/SAFe environment.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, requiring the candidate to be based in Houston.
