Position Overview:

Location: Fully Onsite

Initial Work Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3 PM for the first few months, transitioning to 6 PM - 6 AM thereafter.

Role Summary:

This position is based in a state-of-the-art facility focused on advanced product assembly and packaging. The selected candidate will provide essential engineering support for system and equipment optimization, upgrades, and modifications. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and FDA guidelines within the Inspection and Packaging sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical support related to engineering, compliance, calibration, quality assurance, and process automation.
  • Assist during inspections by regulatory agencies, providing necessary technical expertise.
  • Conduct advanced maintenance tasks and monitor sophisticated plant support equipment, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of spare parts for equipment and systems.
  • Evaluate and enhance current maintenance procedures to optimize performance and troubleshoot equipment failures.
  • Interpret and review technical plans, including utility and process system layouts.
  • Support operations during non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant Technical Engineering experience, or
  • Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant Technical Engineering experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with PLC, Computer Serialization, and Packaging Equipment.
  • Experience with SCADA/PLC Control Systems in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Biotechnology sectors.
  • Knowledge of automation system hardware and software, including installation.
  • Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration and facilitation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
