Position Overview:

This role is based in a state-of-the-art facility and involves providing essential engineering support for system and equipment optimization. The successful candidate will engage in various activities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Work Schedule:

The initial work schedule will be from 6:30 am to 3 pm for the first few months, transitioning to a night shift from 6 pm to 6 am. Flexibility is required as the role supports a 24-hour operational structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical support related to engineering, compliance, calibration, and quality assurance.
  • Assist during inspections by regulatory agencies, providing necessary technical support.
  • Conduct advanced maintenance tasks and monitor complex plant support systems in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts for the equipment and systems managed by the team.
  • Evaluate and enhance current maintenance procedures to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Interpret technical drawings and system plans to support maintenance and operational tasks.
  • Provide support during non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED with 6 years of relevant technical engineering experience, or
  • Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant technical engineering experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering Technology, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, packaging equipment, and inspection systems.
  • Experience with SCADA/PLC control systems in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Proficiency in automation system hardware and software support.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and technical writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

It is essential for candidates to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols and practices in all engineering activities.
