Marketing Representative

Job Summary
Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Representative to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for generating business, conducting training, and performing all essential marketing functions in our assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel regularly to agencies throughout assigned territory to promote Company products and services, conduct training, and perform all essential marketing functions.
- Communicate marketing plans to agents to ensure the expanded use of Company products and services that will provide profitable growth.
- Assist agents' advertising and promotion activities, including prospecting and recommending the appointment of new agencies.
- Prepare daily marketing activity reports for management, analyzing loss experience, financial conditions, and physical characteristics of risks.
- Communicate effectively and clearly with company associates, independent agents, customer service representatives, and other insurance service organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of property/casualty insurance experience with personal and commercial line coverages.
- Ability to organize data, multi-task, and make decisions independently.
- Above average communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to resolve complex issues.
- Interest in developing product knowledge through participation in approved educational programs.
- Commercial underwriting experience.
