Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lending/Services Director to lead our commercial lending team and drive business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Commercial Lending team, overseeing sales, operations, credit, and business development functions.
  • Maintain and grow loan portfolios, ensuring member satisfaction through timely responses to loan requests, renewals, and delinquencies.
  • Implement the Commercial Services Strategic Plan, ensuring performance metrics are achieved.
  • Stay informed on business lending terms and practices, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement aligned with our strategic goals.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Credit Department staff, ensuring job responsibilities are assigned and completed.
  • Provide feedback and mentoring to team members, conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Ensure annual reviews and risk assessments of loans are conducted in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the use of business lending software to optimize department efficiency.
  • Represent the credit union in networking opportunities and industry-related events to foster partnerships and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry certifications.
  • 5-8 years of similar or related experience, including 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
