Job Summary

As a Senior Warehouse and Distribution Manager at Schneider National Carriers, you will lead a team of warehouse associates and leaders in Midland. Your strategic business objectives will drive the execution of plans to achieve business goals. You will create and sustain a high-performance environment through strong leadership and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop staffing and scheduling strategies to meet customer expectations.
• Facilitate change management and policy guidelines to meet company goals.
• Organize regular staff meetings to ensure communication is cascaded appropriately.
• Establish performance metrics that align with customer forecasts and company budgets.
• Achieve objectives related to safety, quality, cost, customer service, and associate engagement.
• Develop an annual operating budget and prepare financial reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4-6 years of warehouse or logistics experience.
• Knowledge of warehousing, storage, cross-docking, and supply chain principles and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
