At Dietz & Watson, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Sales Merchandiser to join our team.

As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of commitment to safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up deli cases and rotating deli product
  • Assembling necessary equipment for case setup
  • Maintaining marketing displays using Dietz & Watson Point of Sale
  • Attracting customers to the deli by demoing product
  • Creating new recipes and/or sandwiches for demo purposes
  • Completing reports as necessary, including store surveys
  • Making regular store visits
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships through high-level customer service techniques
  • Possessing knowledge and ability to create and market Dietz & Watson party trays and sandwiches
  • Communicating necessary information to Account Manager
  • Maintaining full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Performing special projects outside of assigned territory

Minimum requirements include:

  • Flexibility and ability to travel/commute to assigned territory
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills
  • Ability to exercise independent decision-making skills
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

Physical requirements include:

  • Standing, bending, twisting
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently
