Job Summary:

This position in the Finn Partners' CSR & Social Impact team provides an opportunity to work on social impact and sustainability campaigns for major corporations, non-profits, and global foundations, advancing social good through integrated communications and marketing.

The ideal candidate will have strong media relations background and experience in the CSR or nonprofit space.

As an Account Supervisor, you will be a key member of our tight-knit, collaborative, and highly motivated team engaged in a range of assignments spanning earned media relations, publicity-driven events, and account management/reporting.

You will be an active contributor to the quality work and earned media outcomes we generate daily for an array of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Intensive media pitching
  • Securing consistent media coverage across a wide range of sustainability, business, environmental trade, consumer, and news publications
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with press and executive client contacts
  • Developing assets (Press Releases, Pitches, Fact Sheets, Media Briefings, etc.) that will pique media interest
  • Admin and reporting for clients and actively participating in team brainstorms and staff meetings
  • Contributing to thought leadership strategy/writing, new business presentations, and client management/counsel

Requirements:

  • Media relations and proven ability to secure media placements
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Ability to balance multiple clients and deadlines
  • Solid understanding of CSR and broader sustainability landscape
