Acquisition Specialist

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish all new projects, plans, and suppliers within the procurement system.
Input all budgetary details for plans into the procurement system and create and disseminate Schedule A agreements. Verify and ensure precision.
Oversee plan budgets throughout the contract modification process. Confirm that all budgets and impacted lots are revised according to the contract modification request.
Manage color configurations for all new projects. Sustain color palettes and color items in the system for designated projects post-launch.
Monitor trade partner insurance compliance.
Set up and uphold a rebate tracking system for designated projects.
Conduct a monthly assessment and submission of data from the rebate tracking system.
Utilize enterprise Purchasing and Accounting systems to enter received data and produce and distribute reports.
Maintain the construction item catalog, if applicable.
Assist in the vendor payment inquiry process by reviewing and validating contract status and amounts. Collaborate with the National Financial Services group and Division/Area teams.
Perform record retention tasks as assigned.
Generate reports as assigned.
Execute related administrative and clerical tasks as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in contract management and/or related construction administrative experience.
Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to make sound independent decisions when necessary, adapt to varying schedules, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
