Job Overview

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our healthcare facility while providing exceptional service to our patients. Your responsibilities will include supporting the physician throughout various medical procedures and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and guide them to examination areas; assist with form completion as required.
  • Familiarize yourself with clinic technology and adhere to company protocols.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems and respond to inquiries in multiple languages.
  • Coordinate patient appointments and address scheduling needs, including transportation arrangements.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility by contacting relevant companies.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as copying, filing, and faxing.
  • Ensure patient inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of procedure rooms at all times.
  • Assist physicians during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures according to specific instructions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper post-procedure care.
  • Provide patients with post-procedure instructions and medication acquisition guidance.
  • Monitor and replenish supply levels as necessary.
  • Train new personnel as required.
  • Support ultrasound staff when needed.
  • Transport necessary supplies or equipment as directed.
  • Be available for various shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant: CMA, RMA, or CCMA is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess strong computer skills.
  • This position operates within a structured schedule.
