Our client, a leading provider of systems and services for stack emissions monitoring, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their team in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide direct support to customers by completing a variety of work, including new installations, troubleshooting and repairing system issues, maintaining, and servicing Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) at industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, repair, and maintain CEMS and process analytic systems for industrial customers
  • Troubleshoot issues on electronic, pneumatic, pumps, and other components for proper system operation
  • Average % overnight travel to customer sites, typically Monday - Friday
  • Participate in on-call rotation, which may occasionally include some weekends, upon completion of training
  • Provide technical support via telephone and the internet
Requirements:
  • A.S. degree or military experience in electronics, instrumentation, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of electronics experience
  • Solid ability to troubleshoot systems with various test equipment
  • Able to work in physically demanding situations that may require lifting 75 pounds unassisted, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, etc.
  • Ability to climb and be comfortable operating at heights up to or exceeding 200 feet
  • Ability to work in enclosed spaces
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
