About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Bob King Auto. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assessing vehicle service needs, and recommending solutions to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service to customers at all times
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by completing additional tasks to ensure a positive impression
  • Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, ensuring seamless communication and resolution
  • Maximize technician time utilization and ensure daily inventory is consistently sold to service customers
  • Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and meet or exceed company standards
  • Partner with technicians to explain vehicle problems, order parts and tools as needed, and oversee warranty claims administration
  • Adhere to company standards, dress code, and uniform requirements
  • Foster positive relationships with factory representatives, vendors, and customers
  • Work collaboratively as a team player, assisting colleagues as needed
  • Effectively navigate computer systems to ensure smooth processes and customer satisfaction

Qualifications
  • Dealership or equivalent automotive industry experience is required
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, with a focus on customer perception and experience
  • Organized and friendly personality, with the ability to manage multiple computer systems
  • Time management skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • Fantastic communication skills, with a strong record of positive customer satisfaction results
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance, with a consistent record of service and sales success
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work with little supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer follow-up and satisfaction
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
Pay Plan

Service Advisors will be paid a draw, split into two payments of $1,500 per paid period semi-monthly. Commission will be paid based on several variables, including customer pay labor gross profit, warranty labor gross profit, internal repair orders, and more. This will be reviewed further during the interview process.
