Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified and proficient HVAC Refrigeration Specialist to become a part of our dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in the installation, repair, and upkeep of refrigeration systems for both commercial and residential applications. This role involves diagnosing and rectifying issues with various refrigeration apparatus, ensuring peak performance and adherence to industry regulations.

Primary Duties:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including large coolers, freezers, display units, ice makers, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment to guarantee efficiency and durability.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration systems.
  • Replace or repair faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, expansion valves, and other related parts.
  • Execute brazing, soldering, and other essential fabrication tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while working with refrigeration systems, including the handling of refrigerants and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Keep precise records of all service and maintenance activities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including clearly explaining technical issues to clients.
  • Stay updated with industry innovations and best practices to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist other technicians as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in refrigeration is preferred.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience as a refrigeration technician or in a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and their operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in diverse environments, including cold storage areas.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
