About the Role

Squishable is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Lead to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading a team of sales associates, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and lead by example to inspire and motivate your team.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth across all categories, including product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of sales associates, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition to ensure high performance standards.
  • Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand ambassador in the local market, driving brand loyalty and business through charity events, local associations, and mall initiatives.
  • Customer Solutions: Provide solution-oriented and forward-thinking approaches to resolving customer issues, partnering with store management and district management as needed.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge, staying up-to-date on all current Squishable in-store products.
  • Performance Management: Hold self and sales team accountable for personal sales, productivity, and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two plus years of relevant supervisor experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, challenging, and creative customer-facing environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Passion for people, dynamic leadership, and the ability to empower, inspire, motivate, teach, and develop team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High emotional intelligence, with the ability to work with and manage diverse teams, being highly empathetic, intuitive, self-motivated, and driven.
  • Team Player: A team player who fosters a collaborative and engaged teamwork environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to transport stock as may be required, lifting cartons up to 25 lb.
