Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to assist in the management of our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Administration: Assist in the administration of construction contracts, including contract review, negotiation, and execution.
  • Site Safety Management: Monitor and document jobsite safety and accident prevention measures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Construction Scheduling: Assist in the development and implementation of construction schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Material and Equipment Procurement: Assist in the procurement and expediting of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery and installation.
  • RFI and Change Order Management: Assist in the processing of Requests for Information (RFIs) and change orders to ensure accurate and timely responses.
  • Cost Control and Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of project cost reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Subcontractor Management: Assist in the supervision and coordination of subcontractors' field installations to ensure quality workmanship and timely completion.
  • Quality Control: Assist in the implementation of quality control measures to ensure high-quality construction and compliance with industry standards.
  • Project Closeout: Assist in the preparation and execution of project closeout procedures to ensure a smooth transition to the client.
Requirements
  • Education: A 4-year degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of construction management experience, with a strong background in building construction and project management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Certifications: OSHA Site Safety Experience, LEED Project Experience, and other relevant certifications.
