Electrical Project Manager Job Description

At Watt Acquisition, LLC, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful implementation of electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and installation, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Review project scopes and determine required labor and resources.
  • Work with the project team to prepare construction quantity takeoff material lists and oversee procurement.
  • Manage project-related issues and facilitate communication among team members.
  • Provide guidance and support to field personnel for project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Conduct regular project walks for quality control, productivity validation, and technician training.
  • Assist in scheduling labor and procuring materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Complete job inspections and other assigned initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in a similar role.
  • Past managerial and leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Texas Journeyman or Master Electrical License.
  • OHSA 30.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional communication skills with team members, clients, and contractors.
  • Expert in the field of electrical systems and installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Experience with tenant finish-outs and ground-up experience.
Working Environment & Conditions:

The Electrical Project Manager will be required to move or lift more than 75 lbs. and may occasionally work extended hours and overtime to meet workload demands.
