We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Project Manager to join our team at SAM, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our land survey projects, ensuring that services meet our high-quality standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage land survey projects from start to finish, including proposal writing, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Develop and implement procedures to maximize operating efficiency and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Establish work plans and staffing requirements for multiple land survey projects.
  • Participate in business development opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Develop and conduct presentations to clients and other stakeholders.
  • Effectively interface with sub-consultants and other business relationships.
  • Manage and report financial status, including AR/WIP and billing cycles.
  • Represent company interests in meetings and trade shows as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of industry-related work experience in a professional or management capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale projects.
  • Strong proficiency with or understanding of tools such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, Geopack, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly define assignments/deliverables to team members.
  • Ability to oversee, mentor, and motivate a project team.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and problem-solve on the fly.
  • Ability to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration with others.
