Job Summary

The VP, Compliance Officer is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies. This position requires a strong understanding of banking regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compliance risk assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze CRA data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with applicable consumer banking and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and testing to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Provide training and guidance to business units on compliance matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and Compliance Committee materials.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum of seven years of banking-related compliance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team player.
  • Highly resourceful and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
