About the Role:
WSFS Capital Markets is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive interest rate derivatives revenue and provide exceptional client service. The successful candidate will possess strong sales process execution skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a deep understanding of interest rate hedging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute interest rate hedging strategies to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients, including ISDA and Dodd-Frank documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify, manage, and execute interest rate hedging opportunities.
- Establish strong external partnerships with centers of influence through regular contact and educational seminars.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to enhance brand awareness and expand professional network.
- Quantify credit, market, and reputational risks, and work with partners to manage these risks.
- Structure, price, and execute all interest rate derivative products.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and market intelligence to provide clients with relevant market insights and risk management advice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, sales reports, and revenue forecasts.
- Report to the Managing Director of Capital Markets and senior management on the performance and potential of the Interest Rate Derivatives lines of business.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience marketing interest rate hedging solutions to corporate clients.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of ISDA and Dodd-Frank compliance documentation, derivatives, fixed income, and corporate debt markets.
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines, accounting principles, and their application to derivatives.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience working with all levels of management within a financial institution.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various partner departments.
- Strong project, process, and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and strong sales aptitude.
- Proficiency in using sales CRM systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Highly ethical, positive, and intellectually curious, with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and operate effectively under pressure, and a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
