About the Role:

WSFS Capital Markets is seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive interest rate derivatives revenue and provide exceptional client service. The successful candidate will possess strong sales process execution skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a deep understanding of interest rate hedging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute interest rate hedging strategies to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
  2. Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  3. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients, including ISDA and Dodd-Frank documentation.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to identify, manage, and execute interest rate hedging opportunities.
  5. Establish strong external partnerships with centers of influence through regular contact and educational seminars.
  6. Participate in industry events and conferences to enhance brand awareness and expand professional network.
  7. Quantify credit, market, and reputational risks, and work with partners to manage these risks.
  8. Structure, price, and execute all interest rate derivative products.
  9. Stay updated on industry regulations and market intelligence to provide clients with relevant market insights and risk management advice.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, sales reports, and revenue forecasts.
  11. Report to the Managing Director of Capital Markets and senior management on the performance and potential of the Interest Rate Derivatives lines of business.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5+ years of experience marketing interest rate hedging solutions to corporate clients.
  2. Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
  3. Deep knowledge of ISDA and Dodd-Frank compliance documentation, derivatives, fixed income, and corporate debt markets.
  4. Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines, accounting principles, and their application to derivatives.
  5. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience working with all levels of management within a financial institution.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various partner departments.
  8. Strong project, process, and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Entrepreneurial spirit and strong sales aptitude.
  10. Proficiency in using sales CRM systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
  11. Highly ethical, positive, and intellectually curious, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  12. Ability to remain calm and operate effectively under pressure, and a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
