Job Summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled LPN to join our team as a Medication Care Manager. This role is responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans.
  • Document medication administration and any changes to resident care plans.
  • Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Transcribe orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Practice safety procedures at all times, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and fire extinguishers.
Requirements
  • LPN licensure in good standing.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
  • Ability to react calmly in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
