Groundworks Sales Manager Job Description

Groundworks is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team in the Florida region. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales operations of one of our branch locations, ensuring the execution of our organizational strategy to achieve maximum customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a comparable industry, leading sales efforts for service/solutions-based businesses. They will be responsible for coordinating with General, Regional leadership, and Chief Officers to develop operational goals for the business unit, developing a superior workforce, and implementing strategies to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization.

The Sales Manager will also be responsible for leading field forecasting efforts, ensuring accurate and timely forecasts, inspecting sales activity to ensure quality and quantity of sales meet company expectations, and supervising and coordinating sales team activities involving sales of foundation repair, basement waterproofing, and crawl space repair services.

The successful candidate will have experience hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring sales representatives, and will be open to relocation within the region or outside of the region, but within the Groundworks umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with General, Regional leadership, and Chief Officers to develop operational goals for the business unit
  • Develop a superior workforce that is well-trained, engaged, and empowered to serve customers
  • Implement strategies that achieve the goals and objectives of the organization
  • Lead field forecasting efforts, ensuring accurate and timely forecasts
  • Inspect sales activity to ensure quality and quantity of sales meet company expectations
  • Supervise and coordinate sales team activities involving sales of foundation repair, basement waterproofing, and crawl space repair services
  • Formulate and implement strategic plan to improve customer conversion ratios and department KPI's
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service as needed
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in comparable industry, leading sales efforts for service/solutions-based businesses
  • Experience hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring sales representatives
  • Must be open to relocation within the region or outside of the region, but within the Groundworks umbrella
