As a vital member of our orthopedic practice, the Orthopedic Customer Support Specialist will be instrumental in providing exceptional service to our patients. Your primary duties will encompass managing incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, and facilitating various administrative tasks within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to incoming calls and assisting patients with their appointment needs.
  • Coordinating MRI and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) appointments.
  • Directing calls to the appropriate departments as necessary.
  • Efficiently managing fax communications.
  • Serving as the initial point of contact for patients, acting as their dedicated scheduling representative.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • A positive and approachable demeanor in all interactions.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Word.
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with team members.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Empathy and active listening skills to effectively address patient and provider inquiries.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in scheduling within a medical office is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.

This position is full-time and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan, health and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, paid time off, and vision coverage.

Our practice specializes in orthopedics and radiology, and the role will be performed in an in-person environment.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
