Job Summary

The Orthopedic Clinic is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work directly with patients to restore their functionality and alleviate pain. You will administer medically prescribed therapy as outlined by treatment plans coordinated with our Physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians
  • Administer manual exercises, instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing physical activities
  • Evaluate the effects of physical therapy treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating patient progress, recommending adjustments and modifications
  • Document patient care services by charting EHR
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
  • Current Physical Therapist Florida license
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in medical/healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products, EPM and EHR software applications, preferably Athena
  • Valid Driver's License / Clean driving record / Proof of auto insurance
