Our Physical Therapist will focus on administering medically prescribed therapy as outlined by treatment plans coordinated with our Physicians. This role requires hands-on patient care in an outpatient setting, exemplary customer service, and leadership skills with a passion for quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Meet patient goals and needs by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
- Help patients accomplish treatment plans and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities.
- Evaluate the effects of physical therapy treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating patient progress, recommending adjustments and modifications.
- Document patient care services by charting Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experience and Abilities:
- Current Physical Therapist Florida license.
- Ability to learn and use Microsoft Office Products, EPM, and EHR software applications.
- Valid Driver's License/Clean driving record/Proof of auto insurance.
