Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic X-Ray Specialist to join our team at Orthopedic and Spine Center of Florida. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality x-rays and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones and joints.
  • Enter patient information and exam orders into our computer system.
  • Pull and file x-ray CDs, maintaining accurate records and logs.
  • Assist with patient rooming, preparation, and positioning for exams.
  • Collaborate with medical assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Perform related tasks as required, including uploading ultrasound images to our PACS system.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification/Licensure: Basic x-ray license.
  • Proficiency in x-ray procedures and anatomy/physiology knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adherence to all policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality standards.
Physical Demands
  • Frequent mobility and standing required.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25-50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to operate computer and office equipment.
  • Ability to view computer screens for extended periods.
