Job Summary

As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move merchandise throughout the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload trucks and store merchandise in designated areas
  • Loading trucks with merchandise for shipment to store locations
  • Staging pallets for loading
  • Moving merchandise to and from processing areas
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Identifying and mitigating potential safety hazards
  • Sorting and processing transfer trailers
  • Moving merchandise to open-top containers
  • Reading inventory reports and load sheets to determine merchandise quantities
  • Collaborating with department supervisors and facility management to determine merchandise movements
  • Completing material handling equipment inspection sheets
  • Performing related duties as assigned by supervision
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and move merchandise
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, and kneel frequently
  • Pass a drug screen and background check
Working Conditions
  • Routinely work near moving mechanical parts
  • Willing to work in hot and cold conditions
  • Moderate to loud noise levels
Salary and Benefits

$12.00 per hour
