Donations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Donations Attendant. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to donors, receiving and transporting donated items, and preparing them for processing.

• Greets donors and provides a warm welcome
• Assists in unloading donations from donors' vehicles
• Determines if donations are acceptable and presorts them as directed
• Keeps the donations area neat and clean
• Tracks the number of donors daily and provides a signed and dated receipt when requested
• May be required to assist in loading and unloading the Goodwill truck
• Operates a tagger and hand jack to move product to processing areas

• Ensures documentation and compliance with CARF standards
• Maintains applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility
• Has S.M.A.R.T objectives to drive performance and improve Goodwill's value to the community
• Works with integrity and provides exemplary customer services to internal and external stakeholders
• Has key metrics that drive performance and takes a leadership role in maximizing the social and financial return of the community resources invested in Goodwill
• Utilizes the resources of the organization in an efficient and effective manner
• Commitment to innovation, continuous learning, and leading change in creating community value
• Demonstrates a genuine interest in serving the needs of others and a positive attitude toward the community, co-workers, and individuals we serve

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends, which can change seasonally
• Licensed to operate a forklift and able to operate manual lifts
• Ability to bend, stretch, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds, walking or standing to a significant degree
