Overview

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality kidney care to patients with chronic kidney disease. We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team at one of our in-center hemodialysis units.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching to promote optimal care.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families.
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications.
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations to ensure a safe environment.
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document required patient education efforts to maintain accurate records.
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Lead a small patient care team to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed to ensure a smooth transition.
Qualifications
  • Accredited nursing degree required.
  • Dialysis experience not required, but job shadow opportunities are available for new graduates.
  • DCI provides comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training, to ensure success in this role.
