As a Registered Nurse specializing in hemodialysis, you will play a crucial role in our patient care team, delivering specialized nursing services in our in-center dialysis units.


Schedule:
Full-time, four 10-hour shifts; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

Responsibilities:

What You Can Expect:
Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards
Administer hemodialysis treatments according to established protocols
Provide ongoing patient education and health coaching
Monitor patients throughout the dialysis process, communicating any changes to the healthcare team
Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation
Adhere to infection control regulations set by CDC/CMS
Participate in patient care discussions and chart reviews
Document patient education efforts
Coordinate care with local healthcare facilities
Assist in managing medication inventory
Lead a small team of patient care staff
Support the onboarding of new team members as needed
Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

Education/Training:
Accredited nursing degree is required
Prior dialysis experience is not necessary; job shadowing opportunities are available
