We are seeking a dedicated Housing Specialist to contribute to our mission of supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Resident Assessment and Planning: Assess residents' needs and develop personalized Independent Living Plans.
  • Referral Coordination: Arrange connections between residents and relevant community resources, services, and support systems.
  • Crisis Response and Intervention: Address crises and intervene as needed to safeguard residents' well-being.
  • Life Skills Development: Educate residents in essential life skills, self-advocacy, and self-sufficiency techniques.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Articulate and empathetic communication style.
  • Strategic Thinking: Prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and respond to emerging situations.
  • Emotional Resilience: Maintain composure in challenging situations, including those involving intense emotions or conflicts.

Salary Estimate:

The estimated salary range for this position is $22-$25 per hour, based on factors such as location and prior experience.
